I pretty much cruised through my childhood with only an allergy to shellfish and then after being exposed to a pesticide, Synthetic pyrethrum, I suddenly found myself having allergic reactions to new things every day. Both environmental, food and pretty much everything. This list is not really complete, because I am so used to being allergic to things and avoiding them, that I really have to think to actually list them.
I am allergic to the following:
- Ribonucleotides (additive 635)
- Salicylates
- Amines
- Shellfish
- Wheat
- Dairy
- Eggs
- Bleach
- Pesticides
- Herbicides (especially glysophates- quite deadly)
- Petrochemicals (petrol, diesel, oil, sorbeline, vaseline)
- Detergents, Soaps
- Tramadol, Panadeine Forte, Endone
- Flies, Midges, Roaches, Mosquitoes
- Mice
- Mould and Fungus
- Pollens
- Grasses
- Volatile Fragrances
My reactions are usually facial swelling, difficulty breathing, skin rashes resembling chemical burns, chronic eczema, vomiting, sweats, blistering etc etc. Surprisingly no sneezing!
