I have just been for a walk around the farm - its such a gorgeous day and special because I could walk around the farm! My Mother in Law has finally moved into town - yay!
Bit of background - my MIL has NPD and is pure evil. I know that sounds extreme, but before you tut tut, lemme fill you in. When we moved down here to our own glorious 100 acres, she sulked, manipulated, blackmailed and various other forms of drama and won. She then plonked a very ugly transportable house in a terrible spot on the farm which then made access to the majority of the farm impossible without getting past her house.
This is the most glorious and beautiful part of the property - a beautiful hill overlooking the valley, bubbling brook flowing through the middle and a river on its boundaries.
I haven’t spoken to my MIL for about 4 or 5 years. She and I obviously didn’t get on because of her obsession for my husband and I was in the way. When we had an argument she would get back at me by killing something - usually a pet. I lost two dogs and she killed a cat that I gave her as a present. The last time I spoke to her, we argued over another one of her killing sprees. I’d had enough and cut her off.
So now she’s gone! There’s still drama of course, she wouldn’t give up. She’s campaigning to move back after only a week. But if she comes back, we are selling up and moving to Canada!!!
I forgot to take my camera - I was too excited to get out there and drink in the sounds, smells and gloriousness of the wonderful property we fell in love with, and of course see my girls! They have been seeking shelter from the bad weather we have had, and have been hiding in the creek.
